Re: Cops Behaving Badly

My favorite Scandinavian store is up on Lake Street, just a mile west of that destroyed Target. I needed to go to the grocery store this morning, so I drove by the nearest Target, just curious if they were open. News sources had said that most of the metro Targets would be closed until further notic...

Question for employment law specialists: Is there a significant chance she can successfully sue for wrongful dismissal? IANAL, but I thought that most employees in the U.S. are "at will employees" and can be fired for any reason as long as they are not a member of a protected class (i.e., fired bec...

Trump desperately misses his rallies. He misses the cheering, the obvious adulation. He wants the stands filled with people yelling his name, yelling "Lock him up," booing the Democrats. I don't know how many rallies Trump will have before that 2020 Convention, but the Convention will take place no ...

The fastest way to get back to normal from this pandemic is for everyone to be wearing face masks. If only Trump would advocate for that and be an example for that, more folks would wear masks and illnesses and deaths would drop and the economy would improve and, even possibly, he would get re-elect...

Technically, I don't think accounting practices allow a business to spend gift card revenue until redeemed. It's prepaid income (a liability ) on the books, not cash. Anyone have thoughts? Is there another way to support these businesses that are closed that don't end up a mess for them with accoun...
