Assault on the United States Capitol
A Texas man with ties to a right-wing extremist group threatened to shoot his children if they told the FBI he traveled to Washington to storm the Capitol with other President Trump supporters, according to court documents. Guy Reffitt threatened his daughter and son while arguing with them about h...

All the President's pardons
Hey, just saw this thread, and I’ve been meaning to ask (since there are one or two thoughtful attorneys on The Fogbow): Can Trump pardon himself? Any thoughts?

FLOTUS 45 Melania Trump
:rotflmao: She and Martha Stewart could gold leaf a swimming pool. Or has that been done already? There was a time when I couldn't stand Martha Stewart but once she teamed up with Snoop Dogg, she's grown on me. Is there anyone out there who could rehabilitate Melanie's image? I can't think of anyone...

Assault on The Capitol
So, the woman (Air Force veteran) who died from a bullet wound as she was committing insurrection... should she be post-humously charged with terrorism, stripped of rank, not buried with a flag draped over her coffin?

Hey, Bread Bakers
Dutch Ovens are the way to go for a good boule. And, if you haven’t already done so, having a good sour dough mother is nice with that type of bread. I usually just settle on 1/3 sour dough

New Diseases - Coronavirus
A tip of the hat to Volkonsky... Today we approach the one year anniversary of the first Fogbow post about the topic that has dominated all of our lives. This original thread was just “New Diseases”, IIRC. We now have somewhere around a dozen related threads. No one could know how strongly America (...

Investigating "things" in Kentucky, Mitch McConnell
To me, the best solution is to have a special investigator for voter fraud to placate the wary voters of all persuasions. Looking for counties where the data is abnormal and investigating why. If there is something there, or anywhere, let's find it.

Corona Virus Whackadoodles, Whackjobs and Conspiracy Theories (other than from the White House)
Good to know (re: “white feet, don’t treat”). Thanks for sharing that. As for bloody idiots self-medicating, well, my robo-vac (which is at this moment stuck under a table in an endless loop) is smarter than many well-meaning souls. His viewpoint as portrayed by his statement regarding Ivermectin is...

His viewpoint as portrayed by his statement regarding Ivermectin is not an isolated opinion or without data to support it. It has been discussed for quite some time (and even on this site). There certainly isn’t a consensus yet, but this may be worth a read. https://www.healio.com/news/primary-care/...

Re: Archaeology, palaeontology and other ancient things

Re: Ruth Bader Ginsburg (1933 - 2020), and her successor
The Twitterverse is saying impeachment hearings would supercede judicial hearings. Trump or Barr... A serious question: Is there anyway the nomination of whoever could be held up somehow? I know that a quorum for a Senate vote only requires 51 Senators, so that is a wash even if all Dems and Indepen...

My guess is that he hopes to make the lines on election day longer my having the mail-in voters appear as well. Longer lines benefit the GOP.

I have a FB "friend", an MD, who has been "outraged" that AOC hasn't called out the meme for being sexist and racist. I said the term was really about people not getting the irony of context. Nope. COrtez should be removed from office for allowing this racist and sexist meme with...

And, the rest of the GOP is willing to carry water, and, there is a huge propoganda machine ready to invite outrage ..... We shouldn't be too complacent. "Trump's in deep shit, we need to pull something new out of our asses" Guys, this is getting old. It would be easier to dismiss if Bill ...
