Re: White House Impeachment Response Strategy

I would think New Orleans or Baton Rouge. Both are much more liberal than the northern part of the state. My point exactly, he hardly needs to go there. No way in hell he's willing to go someplace that will protest and boo him. He's looking for the adulation, and as far as it having any effect on t...

Re: White House Impeachment Response Strategy

But even then, it doesn't look like he's hitting cities that will make the most impact on the election. Or am I misreading something? If I was doing it to support the state candidate, the third largest city in that state would probably be on my list of places to visit. Would you suggest he went to ...

Re: White House Impeachment Response Strategy

All kidding aside, he's still not doing them in Chicago, LA, New York City, Atlanta, Philly..... No, he's hitting the red states with governor elections. He was in MS twice last month to support our idiot new red gov, and the red gov is fighting what we hope is a losing battle tomorrow in LA. But e...

Shreveport is the third largest city in the whole state so he didn't exactly head off to the boonies for the rally. My friend just posted a rave review of this recipe and it sounds really good. https://www.tablespoon.com/recipes/cranberry-jalapeno-cream-cheese-dip/ce8e04bd-a6e3-4a1b-8df4-552542b3e0ff Why does everything south of the Mason Dixon Line have to burn your mouth? Re: Recipes!

On thanksgiving this year we’re going to the cousin’s house in Philly, last year they all came here. I texted Anita on what I should make/bring and I’ve been assigned to make “some kind of cranberry dish”. Okay, I’m not a big fan of cranberries; I’ve always considered them not much more than that r...

Re: White House Impeachment Response Strategy

Didn't the promise of a White House visit figure into the second call when he did discuss the Bidens and the military aid? I thought that he also threatened to rescind the invitation for the visit.

Re: Alabama US Senate 2020

Other than Roy Moore, have any Republicans made any noise about running in the primary? I can't find any, but I find it hard to believe Mo Brooks or someone like that wouldn't want to take another shot. With Moore's issues and Sessions having incurred the undying wrath of POTUS, Doug Jones may be a...

I saw an advertisement for Fox News on MSNBC. I haven’t watched teevee in a very long time, so I don’t know... is this normal? Does NBC advertise on Fox?
Our local NBC and Fox stations cross-advertise all the time and are something called "sister stations."

Re: Recipes!

Specifically cranberry-sauce-ish stuff, or just anything cranberry?

Being the obstinate one in my family, I'd take a cranberry baked brie and a can of the gloppy commercial stuff.

How has he not figured out yet that the more he talks about firing people to cover his ass, the more people who have worked with/for those same people will come forward to save their own asses? I would be breaking a leg to get to Congress and spill my guts.

Time for the "Clusterfuck of Epic Proportions" kick-off. And to make things a little more interesting, Tommy Turberville is campaigning outside the stadium. Hope he gets a better reception on this visit than he has on his previous ones.

Re: President Trump

By some, maybe. I suspect there will be more boos than cheers. We'll see. I don't have the numbers in front me, but the current president is popular in Alabama (and Louisiana). I anticipate mostly cheers, which is why I think he's going. The people who attend that game will not be cheering anyone w...

Re: President Trump

Boos like he has never heard if his visit and SS detail cause one iota of interference with the game, or reduces seating capacity by a single seat. In the grand scheme of an Alabama LSU game, a visit by the president is so far down on the priority list it's on page two. And both teams have well-earn...

They already got the dumbass Jim Hoft to post the name of the whistleblower, but no one else is touching it. Probably is what has him so salty now.
Hoft posted A name. No guarantee it's the correct name.
