My brother is one of the graduates. I find it difficult to reconcile my brother and his support of trump. I guess he will be honored that trump will be there. My mother was not able to attend...she will be heartbroken.

Re: Alabama US Senate: Special Election December 12, 2017

Passing a voter ID law which affects mostly poor and minority voters, then closing DMV offices in predominately poor and minority counties when it did not significantly close the budget gap seems like the Right Republican thing to do. As far as a white/black/minority slant, can we at least see that ...

I am a bit on the starved side when it comes to teevee, but on social media it has seemed like all Moore news and scandal and very little on the Democratic candidate and his noble career. Almost nothing on Moore's judicial shenanigans either.

What a year it has been, for sure. So many here had health issues, rotten luck, loss of family members, financial hardships and there was the loss of FB members. We are living under the noxious cloud of an administration seemingly determined to ruin all that is good about our country. I am a Dollar ...

Re: Don't You Think He Looks Tired?

My Mister had several TIA's and they were clearly evident on MRI's, If I recall correctly. As a man who previously handled complex legal cases, it was a dignified (though painful) decision to retire from the legal profession. Trump needs to be evaluated and removed. He holds our lives and future in ...

What’s wrong with his colon?
Gastros deal with liver, gall bladder and other issues. What he needs is a neurologist.

I have had fleeting thoughts the same as p0rtia but was not able to adequately voice my discomfort. So when I read the post I did some thinking. A little mulling over and contemplating. Yes, we say some of the same things birthers and tea baggers said. Here is what I see as the difference. Their pro...

Yanno, just when you think Ole Sporker can't find anything stupider to do, he rises, or sinks as the case may be, to the occasion. He's so good on his follow through that I don't know as I foresee much actually happening, but he might just have a harassment conviction in his future. Oh, I don't kno...

Gideon's Trumpet. It was on most of the "before you go to law school, be sure to read" lists, but I didn't get to it before 1L started. Found an old paperback copy at a used bookstore a couple of weeks ago, and started reading it about 45 minutes ago. Just hit the end of Chapter 5, and swung by her...

Nothing. What he did cannot remotely be termed “sexual assault.” What he did was consensual adultery (if you define blowjobs as sex, which— duh!— is correct). And then lying about it. That’s it. Bad, yes, but compared to Trump he was practically a monk, and compared to the Kennedys he was a nebbish...

I guess "Crimson Tide" is both the name of the Alabama football team and ALSO the age of consent in Alabama.
