Re: Leaning A Second Language

I have a great suggestion. Really. Seek out a Latina grandma. Under the guise of wanting to learn to cook Latino food, spend a few afternoons cooking together. Also go shopping with her. Here is what happens. First you learn words and phrases... What is this, how do you cook it...what is a pinch, a ...

I cannot confirm “Mad” Mike Hughes, the Flat Earther who planned to launch a rocket high enough to “prove” Earth is flat, has died in a failed launch. https://friendlyatheist.patheos.com/2020/02/23/man-who-launched-himself-in-rocket-to-prove-earth-is-flat-dies-in-crash-landing/?utm_source=dlvr.it&ut...

Re: Round-Earth Deniers: The Great Balloon Project

My old home town in Patagonia. Each year they make home-made flying machines. They take off from a tiny airstrip and fly across a small lake and land on a street named Piloto Carmona to commemorate a failed landing back in the early 1950's by a pilot named Carmona. No one has died yet doing this.

Notre Dame - 0 USC - 0 Eighteen players have been taken off the field in ambulances. Six others have been disqualified from their next game for targeting. And we're still in the first quarter. You should have seen the football game in heavens own back yard. Jesus was the quarterback and Moses was t...

Re: USA v Roger J. Stone, Jr., USDC-DC, Obstruction, False Statements, Witness Tampering

If watching six hours of Stone's deposition is too much, I found this podcast's 90-minute episode of highlights and color commentary. The shit sandwich with lots of cheese. The commentators are possibly worse than Klayman and Stone. If that is possible. Is this Opie and Anthony from that old drive-...

The IRS may care. Whether or not $eim has an income and makes money. https://m.taxesforexpats.com/expat-tax-advice/how-irs-can-find-you.html They care, but as long as you file returns timely and pay what you owe (almost certainly zero, in his case), they aren't too concerned about the particulars. ...

The three tines on the pitchfork which will nail Seim are: 1. The lies on his application for "refugee" status. 2. The video evidence of his interference in police business. 3. His MOUTH. Mexico won't care if he makes $ from YouTube videos or anything else. In fact they prefer one is self - funding...

Is it possible that Stone’s team knew about this juror’s social media posts and anti-trump bias before the trial and decided not to speak up in case they needed it for later, like...now? I mean, it’s Stone’s team...would put nothing past them. I was just going to mention that thought as well Kate. ...

I have a terrible time dealing with my trumpster relatives... Brothers, nieces, nephews. It is somewhat easy to stay distanced with pleasantries, but my mother is the real issue. She is 80. Legally blind, hard of hearing, frail, but sharp as a tack when it comes to memory and needs. She is a disgust...
