I have to do everything on the laptop they provided me, with a smart card and a fingerprint reader and no ability to transfer anything...

Over the next two years, the Dems have to deliver. If they don't, kiss 2020 goodbye. Pelosi is the best shot to make that happen IMHO. I absolutely agree that new talent needs to be groomed. 2020 would be a good transition year. I used to like Seth Moulton, but he seems to have gone off the deep end..
Some updates.. Dad is doing very well after his heart attack.. They let him start driving again this week, so he's in heaven.. But a week ago ms.tek's mom ended up in the hospital with spinal problems (osteoporosis, she's had her spine glued before) .. and while there waiting for that procedure SHE ...

Marital infidelity isn't rare. When it happens, or becomes common knowledge, spouses have choices. Walk away or work it out. I used to think it was unforgivable, but others have told me that a greater commitment can arise from the ashes. Indeed. My kid brother is a case in point. He and his wife wo...
Had a call with my colleagues in Camarillo this afternoon.. Noted that the winds sometimes calm down to 20MPH or so, and sometimes are 60-70MPH. Saturday the winds shifted to off the ocean, which they were worried about because it can cause the fire to blow back and spread.. but enough had been burn...

The Trump campaign is fundraising off of revoking @Acosta’s press pass. Email just sent out, “surveying” recipients over whether they think it was right decision. H/t @Woellert

IANAL, and I honestly wonder: Is there such a thing as a "citizen of Florida" ?"I'm also asking to open up the ballots. Whether I was a citizen of Florida or not, I have a right to do that."
I always thought states had "residents" and not "citizens" ...

Neither Trump nor anyone else has explained exactly who would be citizens, if birthright citizenship were abolished. Would citizenship require that both parents be citizens? Just one parent? Would there be time requirements: the qualifying parent had to be a citizen and/or resident for x years? Bot...
