I'm hoping the Space Force will be gone when he's gone. I don't know what that takes, but I hope it happens.

Re: Weather Alerts

We were on Saguenay Peninsula a few years ago and talked to a few women who had nothing nice to say about the winters there. They just pretty much spent the entire winter depressed and stir crazy. I imagine this is pretty much what they live with, too.

Re: Weather Alerts

So far, we have been lucky with this storm. We got a little bit of a rainy/snowy mix, but nothing that adds up to much. It's a lot worse in other parts of the state.

The interviews should be on the MSNBC website. I've only seen small outtakes of it myself. Looking forward to watching the whole interview myself.

Hey Donald John Trump: Should we tell the West Virginia residents that fracking hastened the demise of coal? They don't even understand it here in PA where it's, unfortunately, really obvious. I have noticed, though, that they often try to hide the wells when they can. They put one on the land of a...

Re: At The Movies, comments and reviews

Watched "Tolkien" via HBO last night. The film covers JRR Tolkien's life from about age 5 to 25. Tolkien's estate distanced itself from the film when it was released but there really is not much for them to object to. Like most movie biographies it takes a few liberties (mostly by simplifying event...

This seemed shocking when I first read it, but they doctor scientific stuff, so I guess not. It is a little scary, though. None of this stuff really comes as a surprise after about a second's thought. It's creeping (and sometimes galloping) fascism.

Pro tip: your husband is WAY more important than Lev Parnas (my spellchecker tried to give me Levi Parnassus, whoever the hell that is).

I know that isn't news to you. :bighug:

Re: Aging - it's not for fraidy cats

We got home this afternoon after hubby's aortic valve replacement by TAVR yesterday. It went textbook perfect, but he still stayed overnight and I don't know why anyone said he might go home the same day. The question after surgery was whether he would spend the night in ICU or the cardiac unit. He ...

I'm surprised Swalwell wasn't included, but I'm good with those who were.
He's pretty good as a well-informed commentator on MSNBC, so we'll get to hear from him, which I think might not be true if he was one of the impeachment managers.
