Re: Alex Jones

Over time, I came to learn that keeping Jones from getting angry was a big part of the job, though it was impossible to predict his outbursts. Stories abounded among my co-workers: The blinds stuck, so he ripped them off the wall. A water cooler had mold in it, so he grabbed a large knife, stabbed ...

Re: Joseph "Joe" Robinette Biden Jr. 2020 - 4/25/19 He's In!

Biden would be a good placeholder for the next Democratic President. Serve four year and usher in the next generation of Democratic leadership? or we could cut out the middleman and elect the next generation this time? You and I feel that way, of course. But wresting control away from fox news watc...

Re: Joseph "Joe" Robinette Biden Jr. 2020 - 4/25/19 He's In!

I believe Biden has the best chance of beating the Chosen One (read rust belt/midwest), but not sure he's actually the best candidate. And there's my dilemma. i have considerably more confidence in Biden's ability to win the election, than i do in his ability or even his desire to inspire/direct/de...

this is true & that’s of no small value i suppose but i’m skeptical that it’s of much further use. (except for providing the signatories w a feeling that they’ve done what they could)

This isn't the first time he's claimed that SCOTUS could stop the impeachment. Shirley the WH counsel has already explained to him that it doesn't work that way. I think dotus thinks that Gorsuch and Kavanaugh have changed how things (i.e. the constitution) work, and THEY will make sure to stop the...

it all makes a lot more sense when you realize that trump—and most, if not all of his fellow republicans, tbh—decides what outcome he wants first, then makes up reasons for why he should get it.

The bottom line: If the race plays through along these lines, the nominee will be chosen in July — at the convention in Milwaukee. That is Bloomberg’s play. it's remarkable how passionately devoted pundits are to the stories of "dems in disarray" and "brokered convention." jesus, i wish someone wou...
