Re: CBO Reports: Congressional Budget Office

Seems like I remember a time when folks were smart enough to tolerate deficits when the economy was weak, but then raised taxes to bring them down when the economy was strong. Heck, wasn't there even a president who enhanced revenues enough to pay the debt down a bit? And... didn't he play the saxo...

Just voted for Jimmy down the hall, but as a substitute for Mick Mulvaney. EGOTUS was beyond annoyed when he dared to cough while the emperor was speaking, plus I’ve read that he’s been asking his ‘people’ if Mulvaney is doing a good job. Not a great show of confidence and apparently a precursor to...

Finally. Something that could do some good for a country with too many goddamn bibles. Good grief. Use your Bible app. You can even swear an oath on your Bible app. Plus you can do word searches on it. You can increase the size of the font so it's easier to read. As the article sez, Trump could write an exemption for Bibles … although I guess it would have to be framed as a non-preferential exemption for all holy books… :pickle: … or is there a constitutional issue on that, would it be deemed to be state support of religion? I also firmly believe that the Pentagon informed him early in the process about the potential casualties and he pooh-poohed th...
