Fire!

Not quite on topic, but my standard wedding gift for people who live on the West Coast is an air purifier. This year alone I have bought 8 large air purifiers, the latest for my twice-widowed older sister, who married for the third time a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Happy Turkey Day 2020

We worked outside all day long, under a gigantic beautiful sky, looking at the mountains which surround us. We zoomed with the kids and grandchildren, then had some brisket. All in all, a quietly happy day for us.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

You will have one more guest than we will. We had planned to be in San Francisco for the next few months, helping our daughter with her newborn. Alas, we decided it was a really, really stupid thing to travel. So we’ll be spending Thanksgiving at the family ranch, where we’ve been living in isolatio...

A maskless DiFi was walking the corridors of the Senate today, speaking to people up close and personal. I assume she was maskless because she’s a senile old bat. Ms. Feinstein needs to RETIRE right now. She’s a menace to the Democratic Party.

Re: On a Personal Level--Coronavirus COVID-19 Cancellations, etc.

Our daughter had her second child a few days ago, in San Francisco. We had long been committed to traveling to California to help her out for a few months, but though we have a safe way to get to San Francisco, and a safe place to live, there is a fourteen day quarantine in California for those arri...

Mrs. Fini's objections were due yesterday. She asked for another extension. Philpoot prefers to move at a contemplative and leisurely pace. Or perhaps, incredible as it may seem, he has clients who pay him. The Widder’s case may well soon rival Jarndyce vs. Jarndyce. :waiting: Surely the grift isn’...

Charlie Gile @CharlieGileNBC In her first few days in DC, Marjorie Taylor Greene said she wasn’t going to wear a mask on Capitol Hill (she did) and was forced to do CrossFit in her hotel (she wasn’t.) New Mexico is locking down. No nonessential businesses open, bars and restaurants will be take-out only, State parks closed, etc., which effectively is the same as Governor Grisham’s lockdown last March. Grisham has a background in public health, making her the right person for the pandemic job. htt...

This time of year you can find space heaters at Target and Wal-Mart too. I have a couple of 1500W ceramic space heaters which we used for two weeks at the end of a December about 5 years ago (average temperatures for Minnesota at that time) until my sweetie could replace the furnace fan. They worke...

Just a few weeks ago we were hearing that things might get back to something resembling normal life by the end of 2021. Fauci is now talking about 2022, and I’ve read 2023 and even 2024 from some epidemiologists.

This is a shithole country, Donnie. Rot in hell.
