Re: Military Mischief

Even if one doesn't care a fig about the oath and the ceremonial aspects, the action shows a level of misjudgment and a lack of insight that should be grounds enough for dismissal for gross stupidity (yes, I know that's not A Thing). How could any of the participants think this could end well? And ...

I don't know what they have on him, but, if it's enough to put him away for a significant amount of time, and ends up being charged in a state court instead of federal, I believe he will flip. As long as he's charged in federal court I have no doubt Trump will pardon him and I think Cohen knows it. ...

I worry sometimes about this. It really is a very small subset of the population that has any experience with severe pain. And many of these people who have never had to deal with severe chronic pain are making decisions about the availability of these medications for people who do suffer severe chr...

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Rep. SInema became Sen. Sinema? That would be the same Kyrsten Sinema who appeared on RC Radio and completely gutted Georgia State Representative Mark Hatfield and his Birther bill in 2011. I'm sure that applies to me. I am sometimes described as eccentric, which most likely is a euphemism. I'm OK with it. My only complaint about myself is why don't I still look like I did when I was 45. :crying:

Dumbass sergeant takes the oath of enlistment with a dinosaur puppet on her hand. Dumbass colonel lets her do it. Sergeant loses her full-time (I'm assuming civilian) position with the TN Air National Guard, and faces other administrative sanction. Colonel gets "demoted and immediately retired" (th...

:snippity: I think this is Trump throwing Cohen under the bus. Goldberg gave a two-hour interview to the press about trump and the Cohen case. It's inconceivable to me that an attorney would do such a thing unless he was expressly given permission, even urged, to blabbity-blab, blab, blab by trump ...

I don't care for Haley very much, but she is so vastly more qualified than Larry Kudlow that I'm surprised at her restraint. Describing Ryan and Ammon as ranchers is just plain lazy. I know it is very common for reporters to just take "facts" that seem to be well know and often repeated, but it still drives me crazy, especially because this is just so well known that neither of the two lives or work on a ranch. Ryan Bundy...
