The US insistence that other countries also cease economic interactions with Iran was not morally or legally justified. It is time for the American imperium to die. It will be ironic that the president who most strongly expects it to prevail will have taken the actions that kill it.

I guess I'm in good company with the sister thing. I have a younger sister who is great, except that she's a Trumper, big time. My older sister is a piece of work. We've been pretty well estranged for many many years. Maybe at some point I'll share the story, but she really did me dirty right after ...

I've never seen a single ad where Rick Scott was running against his supposed primary opponent. He's been running against Nelson the whole time. That was a brilliant strategy, just acting as if he already had the Republican nomination and run a general election campaign right from the start. I saw ...

"Wait just a minute officer, I just need to go into my bedroom and get my gun, OK?"

I have two guns and many of my friends are also gun owners. But none of us walk around our homes wearing a holster with a loaded gun, just in case.

How ironic. This...while Trump can't stop bragging about the size and might of our military and pouring massive amounts into making it even more obscene. While the real war against America is taking place right under his nose, with his (at least tacit) assistance.

I voted for Another Cabinet Official. My suspicions go with Steven Miller. It could also be that a bunch of people wrote a few paragraphs each. That way everyone can deny writing the op-ed. Isn't Steven Miller the one a lot of the worst ideas are coming out of? I've assumed, for instance, he was th...

I know I'm going against the majority in this poll, but, of all those on the list, the one person it can't be is Pence. The op-ed introduction says that this person's job would be in jeopardy if his/her identity were known. That's not quite true. His/her job would be TOAST. Pence is elected. Trump ...

I find this part to be interesting The root of the problem is the president’s amorality. Anyone who works with him knows he is not moored to any discernible first principles that guide his decision making. That is a powerful lot of sanctimonious, self righteousness. This is one of the biggies that ...

CNN just had a short piece showing how often Pence uses the word "lodestar". That is a pretty unique word, I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone use that word in conversation, and it's not often used in writing either.

War is one of the best ways Republicans have of winning elections. Unfortunately, they wrap themselves up in the flag and pay lip service to the military and voters associate them with strong military. It's BS of course, but, it works. I have no doubt they would be willing to go to war if they fear ...

I'm a little disturbed that it looks as though Republicans had a bigger turnout than Dems. There are also 3.4 million registered voters in Florida with No Party Affiliation who were unable to vote in Democrat or Republican primary races but many of us will show up with bells on in November. FWIW my impression is the juror who has spoken is a Trump supporter in terms of voting for him, but probably doesn't go to the white supremacist rallies he constantly holds. The holdout juror is probably the kind of Trump supporter that goes to rallies. They are the ones I wouldn't trust as jurors ...
