Re: 2020 GOP Rattled by Trump

That's a hallmark of a cult. The leader of the cult does not have to keep the members in line. They peons keep each other in line.

I never knew that about Vidor, but I also never knew anyone from there. One of my aunts and cousins lived in Beaumont and we visited them a few times when I lived in Texas as a child. What I most remember about Beaumont is they had virtually no sidewalks. I have always loved to walk, even as a kid I...

I don't know why they even bothered to write 100+ pages. They could have sent in a single page that said Trump admits his guilt and the Senate would still acquit him. I expect very little effort on McConnell's part to hide the sham trial they are about to put on.

The whole point of the Women's March was a response to Trump, so altering the photos to remove evidence of the criticism of him puts the March in a different context completely.

I continue to lament the fact that the House did not add a simple bribery count. Big mistake. Sometimes taking the intellectual high road is self defeating. Especially here since this was not an intellectual but a political and legal exercise.

I agree with that. Yesterday afternoon “#neverwarren” was trending on Twitter. Many Bernie Bros and Women and lots of suspected Russian bots. Then it stopped. I think Parnas' interviews have been interesting. So, anyone up for an over/under thread regarding how many days it will take for the Senate to acquit Trump? My take is they will dispose of this little inconvenience in fairly short order. After all, they have a long list of unqualified right wing nut jobs to appoint to federal courts. We can't stop...
