Welcome to Fogbow, born again. My previous hosting company crashed my server and I couldn't restore the database, so we are starting Fogbow from scratch again. You will have to re-register in order to use the forum, and because of spammers, I will have to approve your membership.
Please be patient, I am rebuilding the entire forum and it will take several, maybe many days. As always, you can dismiss this announcement, little X button top right.

Re: Assault on the Capitol (DC)
GOOD! I don't want our Capitol to look like a prison camp. I don't want it to look like an abattoir either. My vocabulary is pretty extensive, but abattoir is a word I don’t remember ever hearing before. Of course I did the Google thing and your use of it was very, very appropriate, Sugar. Just ano...

You can do it, Jez! I hope you have an easy time of it and learn to substitute other activities during times when you might normally be lighting up.

Sadly, things are so bizarre with DFO that for a few seconds I thought he might actually have said that.

Re: New York State Investigations of Trump and Related
You just know that, even in a courtroom that doesn't normally allow cameras, the networks and probably Trump himself, will insist that the trial be televised. For better or worse -- better, IMO -- it doesn't work like that in New York State. N.Y. Civil Rights Law § 52 . The primary issue on this ap...

Grrrrrrr. I got a cancellation notice on an insurance policy that was due last month. I paid it, along with another policy. I expect to get a cancellation notice on that one soon. I'm not having too many problems with packages, but I am having a lot of problems with bills. Andy, I had a cancellatio...

Based on video of a previous deposition, the Disgraced Former Occupant becomes a squeaky mouse when confronted with people with raw power over him , and he cant avoid the questions anymore. I disagree. When faced with a competent lawyer, he folds like a cheap suit. I anticipate he will point at his...

The tea is a lovely color. I wonder what it is? I always split my scone and put the clotted cream inside, but she just put it on the outside. Our favorite tea house is on Vancouver Island, not at The Empress, although that's also excellent. I can't remember the name of it, and it's not as fancy as ...

Re: trump (the former guy)
I find myself in a quandary regarding how best to refer to the person for whom this thread is named. I called him IMPOTUS, which was perfect on so many levels, but now, of course that’s no longer appropriate. I thought I had settled on DFO for Disgraced Former Occupant, which was suggested by Mary ...

Re: Rafael Edward "Felito" "Ted" Cruz - Flyin', Lyin' Tea Turd
Methinks in future years people will associate the name Cruz with Cancun in the same way Ted Kennedy will always be associated with Chappaquidick. I also think both men lost their chance of being elected President because of these mishaps, but both men were/will be re-elected as Senators.
